This book is intriguingand gripping, I know that when I read this book I was unable to put it down. The story is about a boy called Charlie whose mum is a herbalist but the villages call her a witch. On Halloween she is taken by a mob of angry drunk people. Charlie has just found out about this abrupt news. Charlie is able to travel through time but he can’t choose when the time choose for him. The time has chosen and now Charlie is stuck working as a scullery boy, but on a night of a big feast of the book a novice gets poisoned every year while someonesteals one of the ancient recipes out of the sacred book. Help Charlie meet new friends and figure out this scrambling puzzle.
